Welcome to the Beach!
Dylan Waters is a teenage surfer, known for his skill in riding the waves and for his bright and energetic disposition. He’s an ever-present figure on the beach and good friends with beach lifeguards Zander, Drew, Drake, and their newest lifeguard recruit, Hale. A self-taught surfer, Dylan’s honed his prowess through hours of practice and pure passion for his sport, never missing an opportunity to get out onto the water. He’s competitive in the best way, enjoying challenges from other surfers and swimmers for the thrill and fun of it. A hometown boy at heart, he doesn’t bother with thoughts of turning professional. Confident and proud of his skills, but not arrogant, Dylan’s in it because he loves it. Ever the enthusiast, he has a collection of different surfboards and swimsuits he uses and has never been seen sporting the same one twice in a row. Ranging anywhere from cute, hot, adorable, and cocky, Dylan’s a fun-loving free soul who’s just as quick to follow the rules as he is to ditch them, though he’s undeniably a good guy through and through, willing to lend a hand if he’s able and always having a good time whenever he can.

Dylan is a showstopper, pure and simple. An attractive and fit young man of seventeen to nineteen, he tends to turn heads a lot due to his good looks. Dylan’s most striking trait is his two-toned short hair. Spikey and fluffy, the top is colored orange and spikes up into a faux hawk style, while the lower part fades into a navy blue (like his long, split eyebrows). It’s hard to miss his eyes though, a bright emerald green that always seem to glow with vigor. Both his ears are pierced, with his left bearing a small silver stud and on his right, a silver cuff. He’s a noticeably handsome young man, frequently considered “cute” and/or “hot” by his friends and other beach goers. Dylan’s passion for surfing and active life gives him a very fit surfer's body. He’s slender, but athletically muscular, with strong pectorals, chiseled abdominals, hard pelvic lines, and toned arms and legs. Frequent time out in the sun’s given him a perfect tan and clear skin. Showing off his playful and wild side, he sports two black tattoos: a tribal hook-like marking on the right side on his chest (with his nipple teasingly caught within the hook’s curve), and a cluster of stars riding his left pelvic line (purposefully located to be slightly visible when he’s wearing low-cut swimsuits).Clothing-wise, Dylan’s so far into the surfer’s closet, it’s to be expected. Generally he prefers to go shirtless if he’s able, since he’s always at the beach and surfing. However, his drawer’s full of tank tops and t-shirts for when he wants or has to wear them. He makes it a habit to buy things that are easy to be active in and to freely whip off so he can go running to the water. Similarly, he prefers wearing board shorts or athletic shorts as casual dress, with the mindset that they can double as impromptu swim trunks if the situation allows for it. Plus they feel nice and he enjoys the freedom they give. When he goes go swimming, expect swim trunks and speedos. These are his elements and he wears them well. His favorite brand of clothing is BMP, short for BlackMonkey Pro, and he usually sports the acronym, name, or logo somewhere on his clothes. Amusingly, he’s not at all a fan of underwear, boxer briefs, or boxers and always goes commando under his shorts and swimsuits. Since he’s always up for a surf or swim, he prefers sandals as footwear, but he’ll wear sneakers if it’s called for. Otherwise he likes going barefoot. As far as formal wear goes, don’t expect more than a nice pair of jeans and a button down shirt over his normal casuals; it’s as formal as he’s going to get. Dylan’s favorite accessories are a black string necklace with a tribal stone dog tag, a silver cuff on his right ear’s upper shell, a silver stud in his left earlobe, a silver ring on his left middle finger, and an anklet of sandstone pebbles on his right ankle. And, of course, one of his practically-ever-present surfboards. He doesn’t have any trouble wielding it through the streets and sidewalks and it’s something his friends simply get used to after a while.
ℱ𝓾𝓷 𝓤𝓷𝓭𝒆𝓻 𝓽𝓱𝒆 𝓢𝓾𝓷! ~ (Personality)
Outgoing and a social butterfly, Dylan is willing to talk to anyone and everyone without hesitation. He’s very friendly and sometimes a bit of a chatterbox, but has a charm that’s almost infectious. Admittedly, his mind is always stuck in the water and he considers surfing as second nature and a major part of who he is. Showing interest in the sport or even the beach is a sure way to get his attention (and your ear talked off). Dylan’s enthusiasm is readily apparent, as he’s always up for surfing or doing something active and willing to invite whoever he’s currently with along for the ride. It’s not uncommon to see him running off somewhere, board under his arm and sometimes tugging along a friend or new acquaintance with him. However, don't be afraid of losing him; you can always find him at the nearest beach, tearing up the waves out on the surf or swimming to his heart’s content in the water.
Unfortunately, his excitement leads him to be somewhat accident prone (see the Band-Aid on his cheek?), running into doors while talking over his shoulder or tripping over the garden hose while dashing out of the house without a change of clothes. But he’s quick to apologize and tries to fix whatever damage he might’ve caused (unless he’s super excited or running late, then he’ll probably yell a promise to fix it later behind him). Whether it’s due of that excitement-prone nature or his surfing-for-brains innocence, Dylan can also be kind of oblivious to signs of affection toward him, usually thinking it’s something friendly or some kind of joke. He doesn’t do subtle well at all, so timid passes and hints go right over his head. Being direct with him is best and usually gets the point across, so grab his attention and come right out with it. Despite this, however, Dylan’s a sharp kid when he puts his mind to something. He does fairly well in school when he concentrates and can focus on whatever task’s at hand without much issue. Just don’t start him up on the surfing topic because that means all bets are off.

Living and growing up by the beach, Dylan has been surfing for as long as he can remember. The feel of the water is one of his favorite feelings and he can get lost for hours on his board and the waves. He’ll readily admit that he loves surfing naked and skinny dipping, since he feels most free when doing so. After a long day at the beach, he enjoys relaxing on the shore and eating watermelon (even watermelon-flavored popsicles), staring out at the horizon and listening to the surf. It goes without saying Summer is his favorite season. Spending the night on the beach is a special treat for him.
Dislikes: Bad weather, storms, Winter, being indoors or separated from the water, and jellyfish
An avid surfer, Dylan hates being cut off from his passion, be it by bad weather or other priorities. He can go a little stir crazy if he’s cooped up with nothing to do and gets bored easily if he’s not being active. Storms bother him mostly because he can’t go surfing in them; lightning, thunder, and rain don’t frighten him. Winter’s a pain, he’ll say, and he often wonders why it’s even required. Similarly, while he doesn’t dislike school or work, he’ll gripe about it like any teenager. Due to a bad incident when he was younger, Dylan has a strong aversion towards jellyfish. He’ll even get out of the water and change locations if they’re nearby.

As for the fun part… Dylan’s zest for life, cocky energy, and friendliness with others fuels a rather shameless attitude towards nudity and sex. He’s no stranger to stripping down and surfing naked; in fact, he’ll straight up tell his friends there’s nothing he likes better. Skinny dipping is a regular past time of his and the feeling of water on his body is one of his favorite things in life. Mind, he’s not an indecent deviant and doesn’t go streaking around the town, but he has little reservation about getting comfortable with his friends and people he’s fond of. If taking his clothes off is an acceptable way of doing that, he’s cool with it.
A very physical kind of guy, Dylan’s not shy about displays of affection, hugging his friends, hi-fiving them, jumping on them, wrestling, and having sex. An unapologetic guy lover, Dylan never makes a secret of his homosexuality, though he doesn’t he flaunt it in people’s faces either. He simply enjoys the comfort and company of other guys. Kissing: Well, he’ll be surprised, that’s for sure! Dylan considers kissing as something you do during sex or if you’re dating, so a random kiss will probably throw him for a loop.
